Moringa Pancakes

I have developed an amazing Breakfast or Brunch Recipe especially to treat Dad, this Father's Day.

These moorish Moringa Pancake Stacks are adaptable to be SALTY (Savoury) or SWEET, depending on taste preference and are developed to be a delicious, guilt-free, clean-eating recipe filled with nutritious, flavoursome ingredients.

Dairy Free | Gluten Free | Sugar Free

Ingredients (for 3 stacks of 3 pancakes 9large in total)

for The Pancakes you will need:

2tablespoons of Moringa Superfood Powder from The Healthful Hub

1 large Organic egg

1/2tsp of ground Cinnamon

1/2tsp of Vanilla Bean Extract

A pinch of salt

2.5 tablespoons of Nuttelex (dairy free Butter)

2-2.5cups of Kombucha. (I used Ginger flavour, but use whatever you like)

1-3tbsp Coconut Oil


  1. Add all dry ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Mix.

  2. Melt Nuttelex and add to mixture.

  3. Beat Egg and add to mixture.

  4. Slowly add 2 cups of Kombucha and blend with electric mixer.

  5. Mix until light and fluffy, adding more Kombucha if necessary.

  6. Heat a Fry pan to medium and drizzle with coconut oil.

  7. Wait til warm and slowly pour mixture into pan.

  8. Wait until a few bubbles evenly reach the surface and flip.

  9. Remove when slightly browned.


Gluten Free Pancake recipe


(for one Stack)

1 Organic Egg

1 handful of sliced Kale

1 Garlic Clove, Sliced.

1/2 cup of sliced Mushrooms

1/2 cup of Sliced Red and Yellow Capsicum (Optional)

1tbsp of Tamari sauce

2tbsps of Vanilla or Plain Coconut Yoghurt

1tsp of Seeded Mustard

a Pinch of Chilli Flakes

a Pinch of Salt and Cracked Pepper

Garnish with fresh Tomatoes

Mix 1tsp of Moringa Powder in 1tsp of Olive Oil.


  1. Mix Coconut Yoghurt and Mustard together, set aside.

  2. Heat Fry Pan, add Coconut Oil, Add Garlic to Pan, lightly fry.

  3. Add Kale and Tamari Sauce to Pan, lightly Sauté. Remove Kale. Set Aside.

  4. To the same pan, add Mushrooms and Capsicum, Lightly Sauté. Remove. Set Aside.

  5. Bring a pot of water to boil, add a tbsp of Vinegar

  6. Empty Egg in boiling water, wait 3mins, remove Poached Egg.


Stack at least 3 Pancakes on top of each other.

Set Kale to one side of the Stack.

Top Stack with Mushroom Mix, followed by Mustard Mix, followed by Poached Egg.

Drizzle with Moringa Olive Oil Mix, Salt & Pepper, Chilli flakes and Garnish with Fresh Cherry Tomatoes.

(for one Stack)

4 Dollops of Vanilla Coconut Yoghurt

1 heaped tsp of Moringa Superfood Powder

1tsp of Beetroot Powder

Fresh Blueberries and Raspberry and Strawberries (of your choice)

Maple Syrup (optional & NOT sugar free)


Combine Moringa with Yoghurt.


Stack at least 3 Pancakes on top of each other.

Top with Yoghurt.

Cover with Fresh Berries or Fruits and Nuts.

Sprinkle with Beetroot and Moringa Powder.
